Fold Away Cutting Tables are finally available in the United States!! The long story is that I enjoyed owning three of these heavy duty cardboard tables for 20 years. As a silk painter, quilter, sewer and general crafter, my tables received a lot of abuse. After rolls of duct tape and pampering, I finally had to throw two of them away. The one remaining table is in very sad shape. When I started searching for replacements for my well loved tables I found that the only source is in Australia. Shipping costs for two tables more than doubled the purchase price. After two years of trying to do without, I decided that if I wanted them so badly maybe others in the U.S. did too. And though I never imagined I would ever be an importer of anything, that is just what I have become. If you need to replace a Foldaway Table, or just get one, I am pleased to be able to offer them you to.
The tables are priced as low as they can be so shipping costs can be figured as part of the cost of the table itself. Though shipping costs within the U.S. are considerably less than from Australia, because the box is 60” long and considered oversized, shipping to U.S. addresses may not be inexpensive. Please request a shipping quote prior to ordering. If you live in California, sales tax will need to be added.
Combining orders with friends or someone who lives close to you is also a great way of saving on shipping costs. There is a substantial savings in shipping more than one table to one address and splitting the cost.
At this time I can accept payment through Paypal only. Hopefully in the future I will be able to offer other methods of payment. In the meantime, Paypal is a secure and easy way to handle transactions.

The fine print? Here’s a little: You should remove your table from the shipping box by releasing three sides of the box and folding the top back. Removing the table from the end of the box could result in bending or permanently creasing the table. During assembly and disassembly take care to not force or bend, break the glue joints or tear the surfaces.
Rotary cutting should be done over the leg supported sections only and with a cutting mat. Repeated pressure over the middle or ends of the table will result in sagging. Heavy objects should never be put on the table including sewing machines and people or pets. And, of course, the table should not get wet or be put near strong heat sources.
The tables are carefully inspected prior to shipping. The tables are made of heavy duty corrugated cardboard--some small dents or ‘bruises’ are to be expected in areas that will not affect service or the life of the table. Shipping damage should be reported immediately.
